Quiet stay near Gare de l'Est

literary theme polite team easy journey

i found the hotel near the gare de l'est very convenient. the literary theme throughout the hotel was a nice touch. the team was polite and efficient, they made the journey easy.

The room was quite small. More so, the bathroom and shower were tiny. the stopper in the sink was not working properly. i sometimes could not release it, which prevented the water from draining, not ideal.

the hotel is located in a quiet alley, ensuring good sleep at night (a big plus!). just across the street is a lively area filled with shops, restaurants, and coffee shops.

the hotel location rocks! the room was totally clean and i had plenty of storage space. i loved the shower, and filtered water is avalaible in the lobby. staff was friendly and helpful.

the street can get pretty lively at night so i heard noises.

a few issues

small room bathroom rust

The room was quite small i thought. the bathroom was tiny too. The sink stopper didn't work properly. there was rust on the bin. Also rust on the floor around it in the bathroom. it didn't look nice, honestly.
